It's a Catch!

  • Year: 2022

    Medium: Mixed media installation

    Dimensions: 8’ x 16’ x 32’

  • 'It's a Catch!' is an installation in an abandoned school's auditorium, where a mobile hangs from a long arched structure ––made from wood studs and a fishing rod–– attached by clamps to a provisional column. The mobile suspends a fishing lure, spinning over an incomplete circle drawn by zipper bags that contain dry leaves. In this project, the idea of selection by chance is explored through a device in constant movement, responding to the changes in the environment.
